So I realized over the past couple of months some things have changed tremendously! I haven't blogged in a while so I'll provide an update of what's been going on.
1.) I thought it was the end of the world when Peter announced that he would be moving back to Houston (our hometown) to work, take time off of school, and live with friends. I was devastated, I've never been that far apart from him aside from vacations and our break-up last year. We worked out a plan to make sure we see each other as much as possible and I decided to move down to Houston for the remainder of summer to spend as much time with him as possible!
2.) While home the most exciting news happened :) Sunday night (july 10th) after a nice dinner out with the family, we were driving back to Conroe to hang out and I saw a shooting star. I've never seen one before so I freaked out and asked Peter if he had seen it, he said no but that I should make a wish. So I did. I wished that Peter would propose soon. Anyways, we got back to the apartment and popped in a disney movie, the hunchback to be precise, and snuggled up on an air mattress in the middle of the living room. Out of no where he proposed. I, of course, thought he was joking so I joked back with him...but he was completely serious after I made him pinky promise me that he was serious. So I'm ENGAGED!!! I never thought this day would come honestly or at least not so soon but I couldn't be happier. I'm going to marry my best friend, my soul mate, and my one and only. I cannot wait to begin a new chapter in our life together it's going to be amazing. For those who don't know we just celebrated our 5 year anniversary on July 15th!
3.) Through all of that I also turned 21! Finally!! We took a trip back up to San Marcos for a few days and hung out with friends and went to a few bars to celebrate! I was blessed to make it out alive.
I'm so blessed to have all of these amazing things happening to me and I couldn't be happier with my life.
